By attending our Brainwave Gala, you’ll be taking the first step in making a profound difference in the lives of over 1,600 Australian families who are caring for a child diagnosed with a brain injury or illness. But your ticket is just the beginning.

Brainwave Australia has been helping families ride the waves of childhood brain disorders for over 30 years. We support children, and their families, from birth or diagnosis onwards and connection runs through all that we do.
We connect parents to other parents, siblings to other siblings, helping to create an invaluable network of people with lived experience to share and support each other. We fund critical and life-changing equipment and therapies. We work with the siblings and parents, as part of the family unit, running camps, family days and sibling events.
We are unique and responsive, supporting over 1,600 Brainwave families across Australia, when they need it most.
Your donations, and attendance at the 2025 Gala, will be life-changing to the children, and families, that Brainwave supports - ensuring they can find a glimmer of joy in the darkest of times.

How do I get to Carousel?
Carousel is located at 22 Aughtie Drive, Albert Park. There is ample on site ticketed parking available.
Monday to Friday - $5.60 flat rate after 5.00pm.

Alternatively, you may prefer to use UBER, taxis or public transport. Trams from the city and surrounds are walking distance to Carousel.
What is the dress code?
Brainwave Australia's Giving Joy 2024 Gala is a glamourous event with a formal dress code.
Can you cater to specific dietary requirements?
Yes, absolutely! The dietary requirements of yourself, or your guests, can be entered after checkout on the Registration Confirmation Page, when you are entering the table guests’ details.
If you aren't aware of them at the time of purchase, you can simply log back into your dashboard and add in your guest details and dietary requirements. To login to your dashboard, click here

Can I participate in the live and silent auctions if I'm not in attendance at the event?
Our renowned silent and live auctions return in 2025, featuring exclusive items and remarkable experiences.

How do I purchase tickets?
Tickets can be purchased via credit card online on this website by clicking any of the Buy Tickets buttons, or invoices can be issued for EFT payment.

Am I able to purchase individual tickets, or do I have to buy a table?
Yes, you can purchase individual tickets or a table.
A single ticket is $325 + GST and a table of 10 is $3,000 + GST for early bird registration before 30 June 2025.
After 30 September 2024, the tabled ticked price rises to $3,250 + GST.
Are you able to issue an invoice to be paid by EFT instead of paying by credit card?
Yes. Email events@brainwave.org.au requesting your invoice and the details for who the invoice is being made out to and we’ll be in touch ASAP.
